Goodbye and Welcome

This year is soon to end and yet I'm still not that prepared. But whether I like it or not I know it's going to end. And I got no choice but to leave this year with gladness. This year has given me a lot of experiences that I need for the near end of my student life. The exposure, the confidence and self-esteem for myself. So far in my long journey this year I have discovered the potentials, friends, and skills that I have as to what I can do. I have come up with so many realizations that I was able to surpass. I once felt like I was a burden but I thought of it as a challenge for an improvement. Then, without realizing it, I tried to improve myself at the start of each new day of course, I have achieved quite a lot in the course of time. Anyone can do this, it costs nothing and is certainly very helpful. Whoever doesn't know it, must learn and find by experience that a quiet conscience makes one strong. I'm only one of the few there who have courage enough to own their faults, or resolution enough to mend them. I will end this year by bringing all the good and bad memories with me as I meet the New Year together with my family. More obstacles are to find me in the next year. And I'm looking forward to fighting all that comes my way. But among all those that I've said I will never leave the memories I had in this year because memory is a way of holding on to the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose. And this year will always be a part of my life.

Before the end of every year we are always ask of our New Year's Resolution and here I am to post mine. If you'll ask me for my New Year's Resolution, it would be to find out more of what I can do. As in more. My New Year's resolution is to stick to a good workout plan that will keep me healthy and happy. I know. I'm lazy. But I made myself a New Years resolution is that I would write something really special for myself. Which means I have until December, right? I came up to a resolution as safe as this because I can't say if I can really do all my resolution if I'll specify them all here. But in all fairness I am able to do the resolutions I've made last year. So hopefully on this year I can do my resolutions too.

Vote!

From my last post about Christmas I will go farther from holidays first and will remind us guys of the coming election next year. I would like to remind myself of this before leaving 2009 because until now I'm still not a registered voter. For the reason that I am in doubt of where should I register and also because of my lazziness to do it. Maybe I won't anymore register until the next election. But to those who have registered themselves already I would just like to tell you to always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost. Anything important is never left to the vote of the people. We only get to vote on some man, we never get to vote on what he is to do. It is better to vote for what you want and not get it than to vote for what you don't want and get it.
The vote is a trust more delicate than any other, for it involves not just the interests of the voter, but his life, honor and future as well.

I think it's important to vote. So you must vote for hope, vote for life, vote for a brighter future for all of our loved ones especially for our country. To vote is like the payment of a debt, a duty never to be neglected, if its performance is possible. When you get ready to vote, make sure you know what you are doing.

Ho Ho Ho!

I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when people open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really are brothers and sisters. I do like Christmas on the whole.... In its clumsy way, it does approach Peace and Goodwill. But it is clumsier every year. Instead of being a time of unusual behavior, Christmas is perhaps the only time in the year when people can obey their natural impulses and express their true sentiments without feeling self-conscious and, perhaps, foolish. Christmas, in short, is about the only chance a man has to be him/herself. Isn't it funny that at Christmas something in you gets so lonely for I don't know what exactly, but it's something that you don't mind so much not having at other times.

May the spirit of Christmas bring you peace, hope and may the warmth of Christmas grant you love.

Aning Day

Wishing you miles of smiles in the coming years.

May each and every passing year bring you wisdom, peace and cheer. May this day bring to you all things that make you smile.

Another birthday? Why it seems only yesterday that you were a whole year younger. Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday, may this day always be a special one to remember.

You're not getting older, just more distinguished.

Hoping your wishes come true year after year.

Originals

my second poem about friendship

to my inspiration for this poem
i hope you'll know that it's you
after reading this.
wahihi! LONG LIVE!

Whatever we tell
Will give us the will
Not to break us apart
But to make us do our part

We are the trio
That cannot be separated by ego
Wherever we go
Still our friendship will do

The memories are there with the ambiance
That is brought to us by the distance
But in some instances
The connection never decreases

I feel so blessed
And have nothing to manifest
To the friendship we’ve shared
That will always be remembered

I will always reminisce
All the days with your presence
I promise to bury
Our friendship that will never be blown away
